戲院裡的木板座椅是50、60年代共同回憶。世代的變化,戲院不再是影劇表演、傳播的唯一,舊有的戲劇院因而式微,終究抵不住商業利益而拆除消失。
五張影像藉由20、22座號串連,喚起當時老舊戲院時空回憶,座號的離散、失落與孤獨,表達歲月無情與面對環境變換的無奈。
The wooden seats in theater are a common memory of the '50s and '60s. With the changes in times, a theater is no longer the only place for performances or films. Therefore, old theaters decline in popularity, and eventually, without business value, are forced to close down and disappear.
The seats No. 20 and No. 22 that connect the five photos arouse the memories of the times of the old theater. The separation, loss, and loneliness of the seats convey the ruthlessness of the years and the helplessness in the face of the changing society.
