夜市是台灣文化的代表之一，採用正面的角度，可仔細觀看當中每個文化上的細節；藉由色彩繽紛的處理方式，對於夜市展現其文化上豐富的程度，並且選擇了無人的時刻進行拍攝，為的是讓讀者去思考人與遊戲空間的關係，這關係攝影者認為是一種情感的聯繫，抑或是幼時的記憶、同儕間的互動、家人出遊等，試著透過夜市裡的遊戲空間去跟讀者的生活經驗產生共鳴。
A night market forms an integral part of Taiwan’s culture. Moreover, it is a close look at any of the island’s night markets affords interesting insights in the local way of life. I decide to use color photos to convey something of the bustling and colorful atmosphere. However, I choose the moments when no people are around to take the pictures in particular for letting the viewers to think about the spatial relationships between the games and the people who play them. And I believe that these relationships contain a strong emotional element. It can be childhood memories, night market visits with friends or family or other personal experiences. I try to build a bridge to my viewers’ experiences, hoping to trigger some kind of resonance in their hearts and minds.
