收納另一個世界｜李青霖

剛開始拍攝壓克力珠的動機，大約是在7月多到看到壓克力珠時，覺得這顆珠子特別好玩，有魚眼也有反轉過來的效果，所以便將這顆珠子隨身攜帶著。慢慢地我發現這顆珠子的魅力，就像是整個世界都被他收納進去了一樣，在珠子裡的，就好像是獨立的一個世界。這樣子收納顛倒世界的想法，在每次看見不同世界時，也讓我觸發更多新的思考以及收納這些世界的意義。
I came up with the idea to take pictures featuring an acrylic bead last July. When I saw one, I found that there was something special about it. For example, things are turned upside down while looking through it. And there is a fish-eye effect as well. So I start carrying the bead around with me. The more I play around with it, the more impressed I am by its fascination. A particular attraction lies in the fact that it seems capable of accommodating the entire world and appears to turn it into another independent universe, right before your eyes. This idea has inspired me to reflect some more about the upside-down and distorted sceneries. Also it makes me think the meanings of collecting these worlds.

攝影是我所接觸還不算是非常久的一門技術，一直被攝影吸引地的就是那光影的藝術，能夠記錄下在哪裡看到什麼，能夠拍出一張漂亮的照片是我非常嚮往的，但在接觸攝影有段時間之後，就像開始收納世界這系列照片一樣，會有更多對攝影不同的體會，一張照片也能表達不同的感覺、不同的想法、訴說著不同事物的故事，所以，攝影的廣度是我還得努力下去的！
It is only fairly recently that I start to dabble in photography. What has always fascinated me the most about this art is how it may capture the play of light and shade, and also how it enables you to create instant records of what you see. At first, my ambition was simply to take “beautiful pictures,” but after a while (and after experimenting with different approaches, such as using the acrylic bead) I realized that photography could do so much more. A photo can express a range of distinct feelings and ideas and tell all kinds of stories as well. For that, I will continue exploring the many possibilities of photographic art!
