People, it all started with them. Through my lens, I enjoy capturing people through their daily lives. If they are taking a stroll through the park, stressing at work, or struggling against the elements, it’s they who give me the inspiration to capture an emotional photo. Unfortunately, people alone don’t always do the trick. I tried capturing the beauty and drama of these specific people by adding the surrounding elements that they were in. It’s a cocktail of lines created out of metal rebar, shapes of the crosswalk, an elegant shadow splashed along the pavement by the sun, or the silhouette of an umbrella during a rainy day. These are the things I see when I walk along the street. Sometimes I get dizzy because of all the stimulation...and if I don’t have a camera in hand, I want to cry.
