近年食安問題日漸倍增，食品被檢驗的同時，消費者只能困惑，吃下令人質疑的食物，卻無法以肉眼判斷是否陷於健康危機中，而製造者良心也是備受考驗。
此系列作品以「Additives添加物」為題，以螢光效果，反映其問題表象，並將食物具象符號轉化為，心「良心」、魚「汞中毒」、雞翅「生長激素」、玉米「基因改造」和調味油「黑心油」等議題，忠實地呈現於觀眾眼前，讓觀者透過假象的真實，產生一種感同。
The increasing number of food scandals that have been surfacing in recent years have left consumers bewildered. In spite of controls and sample checks, we all wonder what it is we’re really putting into our bodies.
“Additives” are the topic of this series of photos, in which I’ve used fluorescent light effects to highlight the problems involved and give the images a metaphoric twist: the heart representing conscience, the fish suggesting mercury poisoning and the chicken wings growth hormones, the corn implying genetically modified foods and the flavored oil hinting at tainted cooking oil. The photos are meant to serve as a wake-up call or reminder, hopefully encouraging people to contemplate the serious issues behind these artistic images.
