自2018年創辦以來，「Photo GO 攝影上桌」已成為台灣年輕攝影創作者的重要平台，成功舉辦六屆，展現出攝影與文化的深刻連結。以 45 歲以下年輕攝影師為核心，該活動透過公開徵件，挖掘最具創意與實驗精神的作品，並以獨特的「辦桌」形式展示，為台灣藝術界帶來耳目一新的視覺體驗與文化碰撞。這種形式突破了傳統攝影展的框架，將圓桌作為藝術家的創作場域，使影像透過多媒材與立體裝置進行多元化的呈現，讓攝影作品跳脫牆面展示的侷限。同時，觀眾從被動的旁觀者轉化為主動的參與者，成為影像敘事的一部分，進而透過攝影家、策展人與觀眾之間的互動，激發創作者更多靈感，建構出充滿張力的藝術對話。這一特色不僅成為活動的核心價值，更奠定了其在台灣藝術生態中的獨特地位。

此計畫始於我於2024年赴德國交換期間的觀察。位於黑森林北部的 Weißenstein AG 造紙廠，創建於 1861 年，於 2000 年初停止營運。這座長期失能的工業建築懸置於歷史與廢墟之間的地帶。得知紙廠曾生產報紙，我試圖在「影像與紙張」之間建立關於記憶、歷史與物質性的連結。

我以造紙廠廢棄時期所遺留、已過期二十年的黑白底片進行拍攝，並將影像輸出於報紙紙張上。之後將報紙貼附於木板，待乾後撕除部分紙層，再以同一批過期底片重新拍攝撕除後的畫面。作品以此方式反覆進行，影像的對比與細節隨過程遞減，逐漸模糊、難以辨識，象徵記憶的消逝，也反問紙張所能乘載的記憶與厚度究竟為何。

This project originated from my observations during an exchange program in Germany in 2024. The Weißenstein AG Paper Factory, located at the northern edge of the Black Forest, was established in 1861 and ceased operation in the early 2000s. Today, the site remains in a state of suspension — neither active nor entirely abandoned — existing between history and ruin. Learning that the factory once produced newspapers, I sought to build a connection between image and paper, linking notions of memory, history, and materiality.

I worked with expired black-and-white films left from the factory’s inactive period and printed the resulting images on newsprint paper. The printed sheets were glued onto wooden boards, partially peeled off after drying, and then re-photographed using the same batch of expired film. This process was repeated multiple times, allowing layers of material and time to accumulate upon each other. As the contrast and detail of the images gradually diminished, they began to resemble fading memories — questioning how deep the “thickness” of memory within paper can be.
