出生馬來西亞，曾赴日學習攝影，因為熱愛台灣，一住便是三十年。曾擔任臺北國際視覺藝術中心TIVAC執行長、臺北市立美術館美術教室攝影教師、中華攝影文化協進會理事長、臺北攝影藝廊執行長。現任台北藝術攝影博覽會總策畫．台藝連結有限公司執行長．藝術家．策展人。

今年的參賽作品也如往年一樣，相當多元化，特別是今年能看到更多報導式作品。除了主題的選擇外，作品要能第一眼就吸引評審的眼球，講求的是你的創意跟質感，還有對於美學及文學性的追求，才能真正投入攝影的領域，建立個人特色。

攝影創作除了視覺上的張力以外，作品背後的訴求以及作品本身的品質都是相當重要的，要成為經典流傳的作品，三者缺一不可。國家攝影文化中心的創立，讓台灣攝影收藏除了三大美術館外又多了一個去處，這對於未來攝影的發展是相當可期的。

This year’s works are as diverse as past years and this year, there are more journalistic-style works. Besides the thematic choices, the works have to catch the judges’ eye at first glance, emphasize creativity and texture, as well as the pursuit of aesthetics and literature, in order to truly invest in the field of photography and establish a personal style.

Besides the visual tension in photographic creation, the appeal behind the work and the quality of the work itself are very important. To become a classic work, each of the three are indispensable. The establishment of the National Center of Photography not only provides another space for the photography collection besides the three major museums of art, but also brings more expectation for the future development of photography.
